Not being mindful of these things can lead to damaged hair, and no one wants that!

No matter the tool you’re using, to make this easier and more efficient, you’ll want to section your hair. It’s as simple as taking one large clip and sectioning all hair to the top with the exception of the bottom row of hair, about an inch thick. Once you’ve curled that section, take down another row about an inch thick and continue this until all the hair is curled. You can adjust how thick each section is depending on how much wave you’re hoping to have. The smaller the section, the more wave there will be.

Male vs Female Hair Products

Using great products makes a big difference when it comes to having manageable, well-styled hair. Generally, men want something that’s quick and easy. Whether having long hair has been your staple look or you’re new to longer hair, there are many options to make your morning routine a breeze.

Now, hair is hair—whether you’re a man or woman, hair composition is structured the same. There are product lines that are solely geared toward men and other lines that carry products for both genders. The main differences with these products are usually packaging and fragrance. Products geared toward woman may be packaged in bright colors with flowery, perfume scents, while “male” products are more neutral colored and have more masculine, cologne scents. When your hair was short you may not have used conditioner at all, but as it gets longer, conditioner becomes a good idea to add into your regimen. Whether you’re chemically processing your hair or not, or using hot tools or not, your hair is still susceptible to damage from environmental factors like sun and wind.

Plus, the longer your hair grows, the more porous the ends become simply because that hair is older than the new growth. This porous hair can start to feel a bit dried out and just needs a little more TLC, which is where a gentle conditioner can spruce things up. Styling Gel for Long, Curly Hair

Curly hair has a mind of its own but with the right products, it can be manageable and desirable. Most people either love or hate their curly hair, but how it’s maintained makes a huge difference. Those with lots of curls fear the brush, but don’t! In the shower, once you’ve applied your conditioner, comb from scalp to ends with a wide-tooth comb to remove the hair you’ve naturally shed but may be tangled within your curls. What inspired you to become a hairstylist? I’ve always had a passion for watching people light up with confidence when you transform their outside appearance!

What are your specialties?  (ie: cuts, curly cuts, color, balayage, keratin, etc.)? I specialize in blondes, extensions and special occasion looks. 

What would you say are your top 1-3 career accomplishments? My top career accomplishments would be having the opportunity to lead such a talented team of trainers. The creation and roll out of the Blueprint to your best life training and our presence at industry trade shows/partnerships with some of our industry’s best!

What is your involvement in creating the Cibu CBD line? I had the opportunity to test the products and  give feedback during the creative process.
